When having a breakfast cigar, I almost always go for a Connecticut wrapper - even if its a stronger blend inside. But this month's CCOTM release had a specific cigar and coffee pairing and I decided to give it a go.

The coffee is great and I had to get this pairing together before Mrs.Socal Gunner goes through the bag!

The cigar is beautifully rolled and super firm - to the point I worried about draw issues prelight. But the draw is great - maybe because of the aged tobaccos?

Picking up notes of fig from the cigar - and it really does pair well with the coffee.

    Diamond Crown (CFW) Robusto No.2

    Another monster at 7.5x54

Extremely tasty as always and great smoke volume. A nice mild-medium.

Perfect draw, burn and construction aside from the Connecticut wrapper being thin and fragile so lits of cracking and peeling.

    Overall, a great long smoke
