Not a huge difference in box price really, and also similar sizes, but have only had 1 of each so can't really judge off just one, and I added no smoking notes like I keep saying that I'm going to get back into the habit of, so unsure if the Ruination is worth the extra $15 per box over the Torpedo, which is a favorite vitola.

    Thanks,

Thats a tough one. I feel like torpedo is not as popular of a vitola in general but given the two sticks being compared it is the better blend. The Ruination is a staple on the local B&M shelf but less popular. Personally I like torpedos and think that is the way to go. If you ever get a chance to try them in in salamon now those are stellar. I dont see those around very often but when get them in it makes my day.

    Nice. Thanks.
I'm a sucker for the Torpedo, piramide, or Belicoso vitolas for some reason, and the Torpedo is actually the cheaper of the 2, so was already leaning that way

All this talk of Ruination made this an easy selection to start the weekend. The 10th Anniversary is my pick if you are going Ruination. I think on paper its listed as a fairly large RG but being box pressed I feel it sits nice in the hand and mouth.

Haven't had the 10th anniversary, just the No.1 Robusto. Dont recall if it was box pressed or not. I have grown to appreciate a nice box pressed cigar. Very comfortable in the hand.

I too have noticed that larger rg's that are box pressed dont feel as large as they are

I've noticed that you smoke a lot of these.
Guessing it must be a favorite.
Definitely need to pick up some to try since you seem to enjoy them so much

Sean, you really should scout out a Southern Draw sampler and add it to a future month's purchase. Solid cigars and even better for the price. Try to find one with Jacob's ladder.

I actually have bookmarked famous's various Southern Draw samplers, just haven't bought one yet.

I believe that I have had the Jacob's Ladder amongst a few others from various little generous bombs here and there

Really want to try the Cedrus, as the name implies a woody flavor, which I really like.

In that case, grab a fiver of the Cedrus - totally worth it.

Cool. Thanks for the recommendation. I know Kayla really seems to like them too, so 2 recommendations is a good sign
