Funny u ask- i was just reading about that the other day! Karl Malone’s son was an assistant of some kind for LSU on that glorious year. Apparently papa Malone collaborated with La Aurora and that’s the cigar they smoked after the National Championship (there’s a somewhat famous picture of Joe smoking it). He was enjoying the stick so much they really had to pry him away from it to talk to the media after the game. Pretty cool story. Not sure what he smoked after winning the AFC North- ill hafta look into that

    Late Saturday Mornig Smoke.

Caldwell Lost and Found Malditus Bastardos Corona Gorda 5.5x46.
A rustic look tho the feel of the H2000 wrapper from Ecuador is nice and smooth. There's that barnyard smell from the foot, why do cigar smokers like odor of manure anyway?
Cuts and lights easily feels as if it may be a little too soft or loosely rolled, at first that is. And I'm wrong on that assesment it is a well made cigar, neither too soft nor too firm burns nicely, rather even burn line no relights or touch ups needed. Ash holds ok, not flakey. Didn't notice any real flavour changes at any time, but there could well have been dozens there that others would've been able to name. Me, such notes just float on by unnoticed. The band would not have appeared any more attractive than let's say, one adorning White owl back in the 50's. But, you know never to judge a nook by the covering, yYoujust have to go a little deeper to get a real feel of it. The nitty gritty, it's a good every Day D.R. cigar don't expect You'd throwi away Your OpusX stas hto make room for a couple handfulls of these. If You enjoy Dominican cigars, then You might just want to try one of these good value for the buck smokes.

Sorry no pix yet ,will get one up sometime or other.

    Edit: Update.
    Here' tis.

Last nights right before bed smoke

    La Flor Dominicana 2000 No.3

    Very tasty little smoke.very flavorful

    Perfect draw,burn and construction

A very good smoke when you want a quick smoke.

Unfortunately can't seem to find these exact ones anywhere. Would love to get a box to have on hand as its one of the best quick smokes I have ever had.
