Finishing up a Surrogates Cracker Crumbs right now. Such great flavor in this little guy! First couple puffs kind of numbed my tongue tho which I dont enjoy. It really takes away from the flavors unless I retro- its happened a few times when smoking stronger sticks, but not every time. Anyone have advice/knowledge about this?

Know this is not going to be much use in terms of explaining that "numbing" noted in the first few puffs. Noticed it twice recently, each time the foot of the cigar was too wet and both times that harshness lasted only for a short while. The cigars smoked ok the rest of the way.
