a while back and knew I had to save it for Thanksgiving (as hard as it was). First time with this Viaje for me and it seemed appropriate after I pulled the neck from the bird and set it to brine overnight; Clearly Farmer Hatchet had done his job.
Thanks Matthew!
Hope you enjoy! Cool story to tie the stick in with.

That could very well be. Are you thinking TJ will follow suit and tie a yellow ribbon ?
No cigar until you get a par - birdie if it's a scramble !

I’ve been saving this one from Ryan for a special occasion and I think Thanksgiving counts. Southern Draw Ladykiller, I’ve never had one. Thank you Ryan!

I always really enjoy trying something new also.
The prospect of finding a new, great one to add to my bookmarks always appeals to me as I place the highest value on variety in my stash.
I currently don't have to smoke the same cigar twice within probably 2 months unless I choose to.
Buy lots of multiple singles, 5 packs, samplers, 10ct boxes, etc to keep as much variety on hand as possible.
Happy Thanksgiving to you, hope you have a great holiday surrounded by friends and family and smoke some good cigars.
I'm still debating what, if any, of my designated special occasion cigars to have today

For the first 5 years of smoking I never smoked the same cigar twice except when I had to do a review. But now I have narrowed down what I enjoy so I smoke mostly the same 50 or so cigars. But trying something new is still a thrill

Have yet to try any Southern Draws, but they are definitely on the list, as I see them posted in these threads on all 3 of the forums I follow quite often, and always with positive comments on them, and I definitely place forum members comments and reviews on things as my very top source for what to try or avoid, compared to professional or dedicated online reveiwers.
I definitely trust and put the most stock in "regular people's" comments, reviews and just seeing what gets posted frequently.
Is the Cedrus woody in taste as the name would suggest?
See them come up often, so logic says that they must be pretty good smokes, and woody is probably my favorite flavor to taste in a cigar.
Probably part of why I'm a sucker for tubos with a cedar sleeve, or a cedar wrapped cigar, even though it doesn't really seem to make them more likely to have a woody taste in them, lol

Yeah, I have definitely developed a good sized list of favorites that are staples, but there's probably more than 50 in total of cigars that I really enjoy and kinda rotate through the list when making an order, lol
I have very broad tastes in cigars and it's really not very common for me to have one I don't enjoy, most often just didn't enjoy them enough for the price.
Have just recently done my first "full length" reviews. The admin of another forum sent me 11 1997 to 2001 nc's he wanted me to do full reviews on, and have only done 8 so far, so really still fleshing out the best way to do them somewhat. Have enjoyed doing it, and after I post a review, he posts a history of the times for the specific cigar, and info one the cigars in particular.
Has been a pretty enjoyable collaboration.
