Where the hell did you find this? That was one of my favorite smokes, but hasn't been produced in years.

It came in one of many bombs I have received over the last few months.

Guess being discontinued explains the 2016 date marked on the cellophane

Nice! Might actually be a year two older than 16 because that's when they introduced the barreled aged habano line, which replaced these. This was the cigar that made me fall in love with Jalapa. The sweetest tasting Nicaraguan tobacco hands down.

Yeah, it is likely the date it was bought, so could easily be a bit older.

Didn't notice any sweetness personally, but it was pretty mild, and I don't have the greatest palate unfortunately and don't taste a lot of things that others do

Really wish nc manufacturers would put the date of manufacture on the box like all cc's.

No idea why they don't. Not like it would be difficult, time consuming or add cost.

One of these days when I go to Big Smoke in Vegas, which is very high on my bucket list, I'll try to remember to ask some of them about it.

Maybe we will get lucky and they will be prompted to start doing it, lol.

Unlikely, but I would love an explanation of why they don't.

I have a bunch of Cigars I was bombed with that have an unknown date as the gifter couldn't remember, and that would just be when they bought it

This one and the first one smoked beautifully. Tons of smoke output, great flavor. I wouldn’t actually let them all rest too long… I’d be worried they might lose something over time, a la old Liga Privada.

Also, I’d swear there was some fire-cured tobacco in there. A really interesting blend, for sure.

Great taste and very smooth, but a solid medium.

    Perfect draw, burn and construction

Added to my bookmarks to buy a five pack
