    DE MUWAT Bait Fish

    Been digging these smaller smokes due to time dedication. Broke these out earlier than I wanted to but...what the hell.

    How's your stuff been smoking since you dropped rh? I know it made a big difference for me, even yardgars and dog rockets taste better (well, most of them anyway... some prove to be crap no matter what) I use 65 packs but hygros usually read around 62 or 63

    @Emperor Zurg

    Honestly, I don't know. But, I'd say yes. It may be too soon to judge for a multitude of factors. I'll try to keep it short, so I don't bore you:

    -Most sticks in humi prior the RH drop have been smoked. These were mostly $1-$2 smokes, and I needed tossers when I got to them.

    -I've run into many operator error problems, mostly because I KNOW I've been overthinking them - mostly initial lighting and burn = overheating

    -I've lately been smoking a lot of what everyone's been sending me, and newly purchased B&M smokes = well kept sticks

    Those Bait Fish were recently scored of Cigarbid, and the consensus was to let them rest for at least a month. It's been about that time, and it smoked hella good. Thanks to the Bums for that input.

    Thanks for checking up on it. I believe it was your suggestion to drop, and it seemed to be the consensus here, but everywhere I read, and everyone at the B&M says 70s good. I'll just follow my bums advice to keep the information overload from overloading. Thanks again, brotha.

    Oh yeah, almost forgot...post up some more pics or your pipe and what you're smoking. Saw you're Olivia post, but no pics. I'm a picture-book kinda guy. Help a brotha out, will ya?

    Something I learned early on in this hobby is that, while there are a lot of veteran BOTL/SOTL that have an immense knowledge of cigars, there's probably just as many who are totally misinformed and just parrot all the bad advice that was given to them. This is especially true of shop owners and B&M employees. There are a couple high-end B&Ms near me that, despite having great selections and great looking lounges, I can literally feel the humidity when I walk into their humidors and I have seen humidifiers billowing mist directly onto cigars, some of which have mold. They have to be keeping these things at like 75+RH. And there are a dozen or so idiots in the lounge who've been smoking these damp cigars for decades. This is why I'm so glad I found places like CigarBum. When I dropped my RH to 65 years ago and let my cigars adequately rest prior to smoking them, I felt like I was actually tasting cigars for the first time.
