Walkin' in the light rain today. My Father Connecticut Corona Gorda 8x48. This was ROTT dry taste at the start and at the end a dry taste on the tongue. Maybe walking in the rain puffing a bit faster than usual, anyway burn time just over 52 minutes. The cigar was a bit loosely packed and the moisture in the air might've caused it to burn faster than normal.
Will have smoke the next dry day.
Once the rain got heavier switch to smoking in the car, and at my normal slightly slower pace. Thought of NATURE's nearly two hours burn time with a Robusto.
This My Fathers Le Bijou 1922 Petite Robusto ,smoked to the nub, ended after an hour and fifty eight minutes.
Edit: Thanks to the eagle eyed WNYTONY, who caught the error (typo) the M. F. Connefticut Corona Gorda was a 6 x48...Not an 8x48.

That's gotta be a typo Bob. There is no way you smoked an 8" cigar in 52 minutes.
Mere mortals maybe, but not you who can take a 5' robusto to 2 hours like it was nothing
No cigar until you get a par - birdie if it's a scramble !

Absolutely....that was a 5" not a an 8". The burn time is correct tho, only 52 minutes for that My Father Connecticut Corona Gorda.
The times are right tho. Haven't been keeping close track lately. but this time did so with the goshdurned "cell"phone.
Walking fairly quickly in the rain, puffing faster than usual, and the cigar was rather loosely rolled, all of that plus the moisture in the air result shorter than normal burn time.
It was smoked right down to less than an inch.
Plan to smoke another one of these soon, hope it'll "taste" better, even if burns faster. Will see.

Edit: Nother rainy day...plan to get in at least one good cigar if the rain eases up or not.

Edit Edit: Wrong again the cigar was an 6'' by 48 not a 5x48.

Hmm... I don't know what you're using as a standard for length but whatever it is, it seems to get shorter in the cold...
Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity.
