Since I’ve been smoking nearly daily a small cigar (4x30-something) on an empty stomach with my coffee, some a med-full, that maybe I should try a Corona/Robusto size one of these days.
I actually got it from Famous. The boxes are on sale for $35 until I think the end of March. It's a Cameroon wrapper, but the fillers are Dominican. It's a 4x50. It's pretty smooth, evenly flavored. There's not going to be a lot of overpowering spice, and the cedar that's in there was nicely toned. One of the reasons I tend to shy away from Fuente cigars is the handful I have smoked have that really strong cedar flavor. It's present here, but a lot milder to blend with the normal tobacco taste. It definitely wouldn't be bad on an empty stomach, I don't think. It's not going to deliver a nicotine bomb or burn out your taste buds. I also didn't find it to be too bland, the little hints of spice and cedar kept it from being just dull and one sided.

I also don't see them listed in this particular blend/size on CI. Check out Famous..You can get a single, or a 5 pack..but at 3.92 and 17.99 respectively, I just threw the dart and bought the box.

Thanks! Might just have to try out Famous then. I often deal with JR but they don’t have 5ers or single time of many of the cigars I love and buy often. I’ve also dealt with Corona and Underground, and another I can’t think of. But CI seriously gets the bulk of my business.

Late Morning smoke. Esteban Carreras Habano Aged 13 Years Double Corona. Needed one little touch up once fired up then, then burned nicely the rest of the way.
