Diamond Crown. Not as good as the glowing review I just read, which prompted me to finally try it (perhaps the 3 yr. nap did more harm than good?), but it was serviceable at least. Reminded me of an Avo, really. https://www.flickr.com/gp/142023879@N07/s56rVM

Not from here but one of those cigar blogs. I don't want to publicly throw him under the bus, it is all subjective after all, plus anyway, I never taste the notes anyone describes but I'll pm it to you. Edit: Just read 3 more reviews, and all which were more restrained and in line with my experience plus also fitting of an Avo, imho. I even at least detected one writer's mention of "burnt toast". lol. I also have a DC Maximus and Julius Caesar to try and so shall see where they land. Further edit: The original review showed a label-less cigar so I got confused (and am now embarrassed) as it was for a different line, the DC Black Diamond. Case closed. Sorry guys and gals. Now gotta find one of those. Could it still be just as good? We'll see.

Southern Draw Quickdraw - the PA broadleaf blend. First of these and this is pretty good so far.

I only got them about 2 weeks ago and I think a little rest will do them well. Liked it but not as much as the robusto, but a little rest may cure that. I will buy more as it's a nice little smoke to have on hand.

Started ok. Got tight and boring (Yes, I know). Have enjoyed a different size in the past. This was a lonesdale. Could also be the extreme humidity outside.
Happy as if I had good sense.

Hi y'all, I've been out of pocket for a couple weeks & haven't had a chance to check in. Was in Cancun on vacay last week and in FL on business the week before that. Back home now and enjoying a lovely Undercrown in my last couple hours of freedom before heading back to the old grind.

You may ask, Bruck, while in Mexico, did you procure any, oops, wrong subforum for that, but the answer is no, they were all counterfeit. In fact, I didn't smoke many cigars in Mexico at all, as the wind blew incessantly off the Caribbean, which made for less than optimal herfing conditions.
You oughta know not to stand by the window, somebody see you up there.
