A nice re-visit with the past....
This afternoon I had a 5.2X52 My Father La Antiquedad Robusto cigar.
I first became aware of this cigar from a post by Bob (allusred); he seemed to really like this stick so I went for it and I was not disappointed. I have been amazed about the wide variety of wonderful cigars that Bob smokes; it boggles my mind, but that is needed for another post.
I have been saving up for three months to buy more cigars and knowing that my palate does change, I have been re-visiting cigars that I had loved in the past and this cigar is one of them.
This cigar has a habano oscuro oily wrapper and after lighting it I got a hit of pepper, lite sweetness with a wispy fruit; the flavor profile was beautiful and subtle. Dang-it I still love this cigar. I topped off this smoke with a large cup of hot coffee and I had a cigar event!
