    Tell me more, please.

I'm finding myself preferring smaller rings, and I'm always on the lookout for a nice shorty.

    *EDIT*

    I found them.

A new one to me from @allusred , a Grimalkin Torpedo. I could find very little online about the cigar, but various sites put it at either 6.25 or 6.5 x 52. First impression out of the cello was outstanding, with a very smooth wrapper and an extremely firm pack. I also noticed that this was one of those 1 in 100 or so cigars that appeared to be absolutely symmetrical. Normally I don't really look that closely, but sometimes a cigar really catches me eye for being perfectly formed. Kinda like an especially pretty girl, but I guess I do look closely for those.

Either way, somewhat knowing Bob's tastes I was expecting expecting a more peppery start, but instead it was darkly sweet and fruity to me, sort of like a cabernet, with some light spices as well. There was a lot of flavor, but I'd call this more 'balanced' than 'strong'. The last couple inches of the cigar brought a lot more pepper, earthiness, and cocoa. I can't really say which section I liked more, but the first 2/3 were very different from my normal peppery Pepin and spicy Oliva cigars and I enjoyed it immensely.

Perfect construction, both draw and burnline, and a very slow burn as well clocking in at about 2'25" total. All in all an excellent cigar, thank you Bob!

Tim these old smokes from Pepin Garcia do have a certain subliminal effect. You did mention...

This however is his secret ( subliminal ) touch, I'm sure you can guess who pointed it out to me.
It's those eyes on the band.
Anyway glad you found it a decent smoke.

Just finished smoking one my Ultra Premium cigars, thanks Cardinal for turning me on to these that due to their high price I might otherwise have missed.
Chillin Moose...5.25x45. Nice cigar, going to be near impossible to find something to match the high quality of the Moose with whatever I smoke next.
