Smoked a Nica Rustica tonight to round out this fabulous weekend. I can thank @WNYTONY for getting me hooked on these - he gave me one in my Noob exchange all that time ago.

Slow smoking Tat Fausto with Schlafly Irish style extra stout, while Heathers smoked her little Davidoff

Edit: VERY disappointed. Not the asskicker as advertised, tunneled a lot, and died multiple times. For a $8 cigar, I expect much more

Had this today thanks to @Hardheaded

This was a cigar of dualities for me!

Flavor was awesome, dense amazing flavor!

But burn issues right off the bat. Required several touch ups and two relights.

Then it hit the second half and developed a razor sharp, perfect burn.

All said and done, it was a great cigar and I'm very thankful to my fellow BOTL for expanding my horizons!

I don't have emotions, and sometimes that makes me very sad.

You did notice there were no Gurkha in my part of that trade, right ? I think it's actually forbidden in the rules.
Just a footnote lest anyone think I had anything to do with that sad part of what he's hooked on.......

And I had a Viva Republic Guerilla Warfare Corona this fine evening. Definitely like the Petite better. This Corona just seemed all power and no flavor.

Oliva Inferno...6x50. Two hours and nine minutes burn time for this cigar that stayed so very smooth from start to finish definately brightened up an otherwise dull day. Once again thank you Tim(Cardinal)for sending me this cigar that I really did enjoy smoking.

First of the Morning. Room 101 Master Collection Two Roxxo...4x48. Ok, glad I'm not a fast smoker, else would've finished this Corona, think calling it a Short corona would've been accurate, but if the maker thinks it should considered a Corona. Heck even if it were called a Churchill Sheik of Araby...it would smoke as it does, would it not? Some nice Coffee and Billie to set the mood and it is a Hollyday.

And if you missed that....no not the cigar, then you're really missing something ...My Man.

Glad you enjoyed it. I had the same issues with the burn on the last one from that batch as well, but my first one was fine. For what I paid on cbid I'll allow the occasional burn issue.

  20. Thanks Upstatemax thanked for this post
