Nica Habano Wrapper.
This one had been resting a good long while, maybe too long. The foot almost the entire part the foot band covered was 'kinda ragged' had to trim some before lighting. After a few seconds the wrapper started peeling,no cracks in the binder,burnline fairly even until tunneling showed up likely because I was smoking too slowly. Needed two relights. Final third was fine. But the hassles earlier on made Me think it'd been better just to toss it.
Shouldn't bitch too much it's not often that a DPG Cigar doesn't perform well.

MAW from @Tombstone & @AlliChaparra . Very thankful for an opportunity to experience the Sam Leccia brand, one I was a bit late to the party on. I only really knew about asking for one because it was mentioned as a great inexpensive cigar. I'm only an few inches in, but I'd agree. The wrapper smells like campfire and maybe pipe tobacco, totally unexpected, yet very surprising. Thanks again, Ryan and Allison.

Went and dug this out perdomo was one of the brands early in this hobby that got me into cigars more. This was basically their top of the line plus it's a coffin. Got this back in 2018 but clearly it's older than that.
As some of you may know I have been a bit burnt out at work. Last month I didn't have overtime was Aug 2020. While there may be more who work more hours a week than me that overtime was just another straw I was tired of carrying. On Monday I got a promotion to be a hearing officer for the state. Same coin different side. While the raise was minimal no more ot for me. So I figured it deserved something different to Celebrate with.
Also Salomonshape which i always thought was cool but seldomsmoke due to size.

The second of the Sam Leccia duo MAW'd by @Tombstone & @AlliChaparra .
A bit of research confirmed Tony's input about the Black having a Kentucy Fired Cured (KFC) filler. Without researching the White, I was thinking it'd have KFC and maybe the only difference would be the wrapper. Though, smelling it before-hand told me it did not, meaning it'd probably be a totally different cigar.
This one is very pepper forward; very spicy; whereas the Black was subtle, with the KFC added a nice layer, especially in the second half, where it became more highlighted.
Thanks again for the White, Ryan. It was a great experience with this one and the Black.
