Black bird Dominican habano parejo. Privada Farm Rolled. Started yeasty sweet (like sour dough) then turned woody (cedar and eucalyptus), with bitter notes and light pepper.

It is interesting to compare flavor notes. At times, I taste something familiar, but have difficulty putting a name or description to it. Others, it comes to mind clearly. Those times, it’s usually when I’m paying a little attention, but not too much, not trying to force it.Quote:

Montecristo Espada Guard Toro 6x50.
Habano Wrapper.
This one burned nicely, but burn time seemed half as long as expected, no wind to blame, just burned fast.

Late Thursday Afternoon.
Caldwell Lost & Found Swedish Delight Rothschild 4.7x52.
Wrapper Ecu Habano.
Smoked right after a Montecristo Espada Guard, that burned faster than I expected. This shorter Swedish Delight lasted an Hour and Two Minutes.
That was at least Ten Minutes longer burn time than the larger Espada. With about twenty percent less tobacco than the Espada the Caldwell burned a lot longer.
I'd guess the Lost & Found cigar was a tighter roll. Or maybe just wanted to enjoy more time in the Sun.

I know many people, when they hear the word Methadone, sometimes automatically think, Methadone Clinics for people struggling with addiction. That was my initial reaction when my older Dr said it’s used for pain management also and suggested it for the chronic pain I have from my health issues. David also had severe pain from a neck injury and the doctors wouldn’t give him pain medicine to help relieve his daily pain. So he used street drugs and ended up on heroin. When he got on Methadone he didn’t have to fear getting busted, so that is what he did until he passed. He kept asking to up his daily dose when he was able to and was taking 300mg daily single dose for years. He would just go in and out of consciousness throughout the day and required someone to take care of him, because he was unable to care for himself. His brain became mush and didn’t know how to even write a check. It was heartbreaking. He was a college grad and a great athlete and died at 62.Quote:

Well, well - what do we have here.........
Just figured I should post a pic so you Bums don't forget me. I finally got out on the golf course, decided to go ride around with my golf buddies and do a little chipping and putting. Still no full swings or anything close but it was great to get out on the short grass.
Figured there was a good chance my first cigar back may wind up getting cut short and tossed early so I chose one worthy of that path. A friend brought me back a cigar from a vacation and this Cafe by Artesanos volunteered for this important mission. I made it most of the way thru, but the sweet tip finally got to me and it got tossed early......
