Although it’s Fuente/My Father Friday, I’m celebrating today!
We had a leak in our hot water heater, and when the plumber came, he showed us that it was nearing a rupture. They came yesterday and replaced it with a new one, even went up 10 additional gallons. Ended up saving almost $500 when it was all done, that’s a reason to celebrate imho.

Enjoying Friday after dropping off this little dude at the vet. He is a baby flying squirrel that we found in between some pallets in the warehouse today. I spent all morning calling around to find a wildlife rescue and was finally directed to this vet. Thank goodness, because as adorable as that face is, I didn’t want to spend the next 6 months as a squirrel mom. They have to be fed every two hours around the clock! FTN.

I bought a 10 pack, and it's kinda been a mixed bag. More-so good than not. Had a few that hit very nicely, some so-so, and some were plugged.
I'm just now likening this purchase to that of buying a pack of baseball cards as a kid - seem to get 1-2 good cards, some that were tradeable, some players you may've heard of and some you didn't carenfor and would give to your little brother to make him shut up.
Almost all have been smoked ROTT with very little tuppie time - so keep that in mind. I plan on buying a 20 pack and throwing them in the tuppie for a bit as I think that would be a huge help.

I have had two recently. Both had burn issues.
The first one had a very tight draw. The whole cigar was dense and hard as a rock. This one canoed on me and I had to relight a few times. It was ROTT, so maybe a bit of time in my humidor might help.
Otherwise, it was a good cigar, but the overall experience wasn’t the best.

The closed foot makes for an easy light,once lit the cigar burns as near to perfect as one could wish for, super nice retrohales all the long way.

I had 5 H.R. Blue Lables a while back and initially didnt like them at all. Put them in my tupperdor for trade or bomb smokes in case i run across someone who really likes them. They sat for easily 6 months, and I said f-it, might as well burn 'em.Quote:
