Out driving all day. A 5 Vegas Gold Nugget and a Camacho American Barrel Aged Robusto
On the docket last night was Specter by AJ Fernandez. Despite the overwhelming barnyard odor, it was a delicious smoke. Weird note: it sparked like a firework when I lit it

Thanks for that morning laugh !
Looking at the other things in the picture - that thing is huge :p :p :p
I wish !
Dad lets me drive slow on the driveway. But not on Monday, definitely not on Monday.

Grrr - great smoke and another day on the course ???? I am falling wayyy behind
At a conference this week for work and my session doesn't start until after lunch, so decided to grab a Nub Maduro and a coffee this morning. Breakfast of Champions right there!
It certainly is :) His name is Bucky Forte and he was a 40th birthday present to my husband from our dear friend Russ. And yes, of course, there is a long story to go with it....
My husband loves his front yard, like in a creepy obsessive way. If he's not mowing or planting or pruning he is smoking a cigar and talking to it while gently stroking blades of grass (seriously, I am not making that shit up)
On a road trip to Georgia we stopped at a roadside garden store and he bought a ridiculous planter in the shape of an ass (as in burro)
http://https://www.pinterest.com/pin...9996867126285/
I told him he couldn't put it in the front yard because it's tacky as all get out, so he put it in the back yard and pouted about it
Russ found out about this and thought I was a horrible wife for stifling my husband's creativity.
He and my husband then came up with a plot to get his ass in the front yard. Russ would buy Drew an even TACKIER lawn ornament and because it would be a gift, I would be forced to happily display it in my front yard.
But my husband, being the kind soul he is, would give me the option. If I allowed him to put the ass in the front yard, he would put the stupid, tacky whatever-it-was-that-Russ-gave-him in the backyard.
So his 40th birthday roles around and Russ shows up with a 5 foot cock.
They give me the option to put the ass in the front yard instead, but joke's on them because I absolutely LOVED the giant cock.
So now we have a 5 foot cock in our front yard (except when we have storms in which case I bring it in to the porch to protect it).
Now where'd I leave that cigar?

That looks to be where I'm getting my chicken breasts from. They've seemed to grow over the last few years. I remember buying a chicken breast that was the size of a chicken breast. Now I think they slice them off an ostrich. Smoking a Joya De Nicaragua Antano Gran Consul.....

And also lit up a Perla Del Mar - both were part of the giveaway smokes.
Won a 3 pack of the Tat Black event robustos :yes!:
This afternoon I had a 5.2X52 My Father La Antiquedad Robusto Cigar.:stogie: This cigar is nearly right off the truck; it has been resting in my 65% rh humidor since 5-25-2016. I lit up this cigar and received a flood of pepper and other flavor profiles that stopped me in my tracks. After a few puffs I put my hot cup of coffee aside and replaced it with a large mug of cold water and proceeded with my smoke. This cigar had a beautiful habano oscuro oily wrapper. I was immediately hit with a punch of pepper, sweetness from some fruit and a wispy cocoa. This combinations of flavors varied in strength from puff to puff.:idunno: This cigar took me on a trip with winding roads not knowing where it will take me next. I experienced an array of subtle changes that was intriguing. I normally have my cigar with my coffee but not this time; I wanted to taste everything.:chicken: The construction of this cigar was excellent with no problem veins, razor sharp burn and just the right draw. I could see that this cigar would not be to the liking of everyone; a friend of mine had smoked this cigar and he could not figure it out. The flavor profile is very subtle and complex; my friend felt more comfortable with a Padron-he knew where it was taking him whereas I absolutely love my journey with this stick.:fly: I topped off this smoke with a large mug of ice water and this has been a cigar event!:santa:
Hello Moe,
That's an outstanding write up for an excellent cigar.Having read this I now know what I've been missing when smoking a My Father La Antiquedad. No kidding,"get" some of the flavour changes, but cannot put a name to them. And here you are saying it was, "nearly right off the truck: it has been resting in my 65% rh humidor since 5-25-2016." Moe, for me, that's well aged. Thanks for a five star, five gold stars review.Wait....let's make that a five cups of hot coffee.
On my second cup right now...and your review has me thinking it might be a good idea to light something rolled at the My father factory.Too early to be turning in anyway.
Here I am, first time in a good while I've smoked three cigars in a day.
Then, read a terrific "write-up" by Moe coffeecup and its a fourth just cut & liit.
My Father #3 Crema...6x49.
Cigar lit, coffee brewing, should be good until the Sun slides out of hiding.
Afraid this cigar smoking might be habit forming.
Ooops double post.

I was really hoping that I was going to love this cigar. Unfortunately, between the unwrapping cap and the canoe that it kept trying to become, I didn't get a chance to form an honest opinion. Oh well, there's always next time.
A Joya De Nicaragua....
Fuente Don Carlos #2. Bought a few 2 years ago and forgot I had them. These are excellent.
