That is awesome news! I am trying my darndest to propagate milkweed from clippings of my plants but I only have like a 30% success rate. I am about to attempt growing it from a seed, the seeds just need to thaw for a couple of days before I can plant them.Quote:

I’ve got some Rose, Common, and Swamp. Tried raising some monarch caterpillars off of the butterfly milk weed and they weren’t fans. Just read an article the other day that says you should only plant native milkweed plants so they bloom when they are supposed to in order to aid their migration. Only the swamp is native here but it also blooms all year so I figured it would be fine to grow the non native ones as well.Quote:
