It's been a full day. Tearing down the jumbo-sized play swing set that has been part of my kids' life for most of their childhood. Needed to get it out of the way and make room to take down the tree that was destroyed in a windstorm the other night.

Bittersweet as my oldest son returned home for the weekend and was able to help out. Bittersweet as it will make for more room in my backyard and one less thing to mow around. Bittersweet that this is another signal that my kids are growing up and we are moving into a new era.

To end the day, my garage door broke! One more of life's challenges. In the end though, a very blessed Father's Day indeed as my children and wife showered me with the blessings of their love.
