    Last night a smoked an Acid Atom Maduro robusto that I have had for 8 years. It started off like a Swisher Sweet on steroids - very sweet, but kind of a licorice sweet without the licorice flavor. The sweetness was distracting and I couldn't get much tobacco flavor, but there was lots of body to the smoke. So I kept on puffing, thinking that it was just a sweet little wimpy cigar. Man, was I wrong! I had only smoked it down 2/3rds when I started reeling from the nicotine. I had to stay up another 45 minutes so I could recover before going to bed.

    I know a lot of folks consider these dog rockets, but my noob palate can't find anything wrong with these.

    I mean they're obviously quite mild and one-dimensional, even to me, but there's nothing offensive or objectionable about them (once again, to me, obviously.)

    I am also still a complete beginner when it comes to cigars. (don't worry though, you are in the right place. The Bum community is one of the finest I have had the pleasure of stumbling across and they are always willing to help) That said I do believe that similar to pipe smoking, if you enjoy it, that's all that really matters
