Early Evening Saturday.
If You find it difficult to read the brand and cigar name on the band. It is not all due to failing eyesight. The cigar is a" Black Release" one of three add on~freebies that came along with a recent order.
Yeah You guessed it. That is all I know about the cigar. Measured it's a Five incher, rihg guage may be something like 52 or 54, no way to tell for certain. Not maduro, nor Conneticut. My guess is Habano.Maytbe Dominican or Honduran. Burn line even solid white ash nice retrohales,good flavour, not simply one dimensional tho changes are subtle,little or no pepper, a mere hint of spiciness is all I noticed. Think it's medium body, medium strength did not overheat at any time. Total burn time was just short of Fifty Minutes, somewhat faster than expected. This cigar wasn't loosely nor too tightly packed. A well made,good cigar that I'd gladly smoke again, and will since I've two more to enjoy.

Very tasty, and a powerful little smoke at 4.63x40
Tight draw, even after a little work with a draw tool, but not too bad
Burn was stubbornly very uneven the entire time
Construction was fine other than being rolled too tight since I felt even resistance and no plugs, with the draw tool

2016 Opus X Petit Lancero
Extremely tasty and a medium-full as opposed to young Opus X's that I have had recently that were extremely full, and just too much for
Don't know if the Petit Lancero is normally a little milder as this was my first of the vitola, or if the 5 years age mellowed it out enough, or a combination of both.
