Finishing up a Surrogates Cracker Crumbs right now. Such great flavor in this little guy! First couple puffs kind of numbed my tongue tho which I dont enjoy. It really takes away from the flavors unless I retro- its happened a few times when smoking stronger sticks, but not every time. Anyone have advice/knowledge about this?

Know this is not going to be much use in terms of explaining that "numbing" noted in the first few puffs. Noticed it twice recently, each time the foot of the cigar was too wet and both times that harshness lasted only for a short while. The cigars smoked ok the rest of the way.Quote:

I've noticed that I have way more draw issues with PC's than Lanceros for some reason. In fact, haven't had a draw issue with any Lancero yet, but about half the time with PC's. Seems strange.

You’ve never had a Southern Draw?! They are phenomenal, every single one I’ve had has been a treat. The Cedrus is one of my favorites. I get great balance of pepper, cedar, and leather with a smidge of sweetness on the finish.Quote:
