Just Finished a Padron 1964 Corona.
Second in a few weeks.
I have missed them.
Wednesday afternoon smoke. My Father #3 Crema...6x49. Managed to get this in before the rain made it's return following a brief absence.Excellent smoke start to finish. When one's smoking so smoothy and so thoroughly enjoyably always wish it would last a little longer, however the total time for this one was but a mere two hours and fourteen minutes, going to have to slow down some when smoking.
First off a Flor De Las Antilles Toro courtesy of @dinoa2 while out on the golf course earlier today.

And tonight a Flor Del Valle Brumas (it is Wednesday) graciously gifted to me by @allusred

La Gianna Havana from the Cigar Authority Care package while out driving today and a Heisenberg petite that @Gunther7912 threw my way
Way back on Thursday during the time the sky was somewhat brighter, there should be a name for that, anyway this was smoked then.
Paul Stulac Classic Blend Ghost...6x58. Lot of tobacco in this cigar,as is the case with most of the Paul Stulac's ,good long smoke tho.
Thanks tony, that is a great read.
was just sitting having a drink, was it four? well anyway, reading your account and marveling at the way you present it as being nothing out of the ordinary.
There you are out driving.

There you are out driving. Providentially you have eschewed (knew I'd someday find a way to use that word, fitting or not) wearing one of your golfing or driving gloves to wear your catchers mitt when the Heisenberg Petite cigar fired your way arrives. Gunther7912 has to have quite the arm and accuracy, which team's he pitch for?
Going to grab a cigar and nother drink, then a re-reading of your aventure on the open road.
Tony, I'd love to have an adventure like that, they've told me that If I behave I may be allowed out of this room with the soft walls.
But to venture outside, unsupervised, alas that must remain but a dream just as the drink and cigar are.
So happy to have found this PWI thread.
Just finished smoking this. My Father Limited Edition Corona...5x42.Pepin,an hour and thirty seven minutes of goodness.

I think @NeverBend had some info on the Pueblo Dominicanas and why they're no longer available. Or at least some history, right Pete? I feel like you did a review a while back with some good info.
How did it smoke?
Kris (@ProjectSunFire),
I can appreciate your enthusiasm, as Tim (@Cardinal) mentions, I do like these Pueblo Dominicano. AJ Fernandez made, with 6 months age or more they're like a richer, fuller but smoother version of Pinolerlo (also AJ). One of the best snorking cigars I've ever had. Slight differences between 2012 and 2013 batch, but aside from the silly band artwork, these were a great purchase and an exciting cigar. I like AJ's blends, well suited to my taste, and the Pueblo is the best of his cigars that I've tried.
Pete
2009 Fonseca 1907 Toro Natural with coffee light (half n' half).
This natural is far better than the stinker EMS version, a decent milder Dominican, but it took years of age to get to this point. This one was starting to smoke really well because as I write about the Pueblo, it was taking on taste elements of the better cigar and I found my mouth watering. Mental suggestion indeed!
Hi Tim,
Thanks for jogging my memory about the review that I wrote in August, 2015
http://www.cigarbum.com/forum/non-ha...blo+dominicano
I forgot that I'd written it, a lot of stuff happened right after that.
2004 Hoyo de Monterrey Torpedo with coffee light (cup #2), glorious morning.
These are good cigars, perfect burn and like a mild Bolivar in look, construction, taste, retro but a little tight on the pack, but still a reasonable draw. Bob (@Allusred), I suspect that these may not have been regular line sticks but they aren't marked differently. JR had a very close working relationship with Danby-Palicio / Villazon for many years and they made so many Hoyo marques, some good, some pretty bad.
JR ran a special about 8 years ago, buy a bundle of Hoyos and get a free denim jacket. Jackets were top shelf quality and I was giving them as gifts. Unfortunately the Hoyo cigars were inconsistent, some good and others mediocre.
Beautiful weather up here in NYC & things are slow at work!
Gonna start with the Elegancia and see where things go from there.
