Those are awesome cigars. I had 5 of the tapered head Vitola and smoked them all. Sure wish I could find more. Those are the older Pepin correct? Mine had the same band.

The one from Pepin era has a regular font for Padilla. This one is Post-Pepin with cursive font, but before Padilla got sold to Oliva. They're different , but I like them! I do miss the Pepin 1932 though for sure. Probably the best smoke in my memory.

Started out with the same flavors as the original with a deeper, dark , sweeter flavor added to it. It did get on the upper end of medium to full strength the second half of the cigar. Not as maduro'y as an Ashton maduro. Enjoyed the first half but the nicotene too much in second half. Will be having more, would like to smoke it sitting around fire or on back porch to give it the attention it needs instead of while driving.
In the business of makin' crap happen.

Nice, classy looking cigar and, like so many 'new' to me
Guessing that's a VX1000 with the Harwix finder plus a neat Pancolor 50mm.
Are you shooting with this equipment now?

Having a Sunday afternoon smoke with a Pinar Del Rio Habano Sun Grown made in the Dominican Republic. Got a 5-pack assortment of these when I bought a box of CAOs online.
