Ligero is normally a bit darker - upper leaves, more sunlight, etc., but usually not that dark. That must be a maduro leaf wadded up in there. BTW, not to get too geeky here, but maduro is the result of extra fermenting time, and it could be done to leaves from anywhere on the tobacco stalk.
