What did you smoke today (NC) II

Picked this one out this morning. It was one I felt needed time to mellow, but was surprisingly just right.

This one, despite claiming med-full, was exceptional. Funny thing is I noticed a mild almond-like taste, but when I looked at the descriptors nutty was not among them 🤷*♂️. I’ve yet to be let down by an Oliva...

Tonight’s smoke is another med-full, and at first I was thinking I needed to buckle in for the ride, but it’s also been rather pleasant. And this thing is a 58 ring. Seems I’ve gotten over bigger gauges.

Had a couple while playing Scategories with the missus. Second one is the Project Habano. This is my first time smoking these when it wasn’t my 4th of the day during last year’s Mardi Gras [emoji51]. It’s another winner.

This unbelievable spring weather continues. Perfect out.

Padilla Dominus. Having some burn issues, but it’s extremely tasty and a budget smoke so I’m not too bothered. This is the perfect midday smoke. Strong enough to let you know it’s there but won’t blow your palate out. Paired with some Thai iced coffee. So damn good.

Hey Brian, IMO no there’s nothing that would make this better at least for my tastes. There was no flavors in the profile that hinted to getting better with any amount of age. It was the first Rojas I’ve tried and definitely didn’t psych me to try any others lol.

With all new stogies I try I always check reviews afterwards to see if I agree with any of the descriptions from others who’ve tried the same smoke and with this one I followed the same protocol. The first and only review I saw was from my boy, The Katman! He’s been my go to for review ever since starting this hobby and I’m usually in agreement with him because our tastes are very similar. Not to mention he’s funny as hell and pulls no punches. He rated this a 70 outta 100. Using many of the same words I’ve written on my previous post describing his thoughts.

Ahh, this is what comes after May, looks the same but maybe once or if the Sun shows up June will be looking good.
That, above was my thinking While smoking a few hours before Sun up on Monday.
Guess I'll never learn, thinking only results in a headache.
Still, Monday was pretty much Ok.
The Cigar was not bad. Nice smooth box pressed toro 6.25x52. Very last one.

For now I just uninstalled and reinstalled Tapatalk and it seemed to have fixed it.

Since we've been together here OUR palate seem to be very similar and The Katman, IS the truth (IMO) the truth as far as reviewers go.

I'm not sure if I've had any Rojas blends. But your opinion is good for me. And for the hell of it I might try one. :)

Unfortunately, I do not have access to or information on the workings behind the scenes. Seems plausible. The least I can do is check with the IT admin and pass it on. If I get any additional information, I will let you know.

I usually smoke along the same lines as @Kidvegas too but I've heard nothing but good things about those. Rojas blended the original All My Exes for EZ which was one I really liked. I just got bombed 2 of the Statement lanceros and a KSG so I'll get one of the Statements into the rotation very soon to add another opinion to the discussion.

But tonight - taking another swing at the '20 TAA and a total 180. The previous smoke had some tears in the wrapper and smoked terribly but this was excellent. I'm ready to vouch for it @swocal gunner and I could be arm twisted into a split..... I'm just sayin

Tony @WNYTONY that would be great to get your opinion on the Rojas. We all have different taste but as you said the two of us are very similar in the cigars we enjoy. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts!
