Escaping the long online dance day for my daughter who occupies the living room with a JR Alternative to the CAO Maduro. Not sure how it stacks up (guess I should try) against the real deal, but they make a good lawn watering day smoke (Churchill), and the bundle price is nice.

Edit: the burn time s'prised me for sure...this is only a 5.6x48. Have had 5.5x46 cigars burn longer, but they were smoked whilst just sitting and smoking, usually late night.

Didn't know what to expect form this one, but was quite nice when smoked slowly.
A half inch in and the retrohale was excellent. Very white ash, looked as if it would drop off quickly but held for close to two inches.
At about the 45 minute mark there was a distinct flavour shift, can not put a name to it, sure nice tho.
Total burn time: Two hours and nine minutes.
Maybe all of this is just an Illusione ?
