Mild smoke for a mild afternoon.

Smoking ribs with a deceptive dark ale I brewed that has mellowed nicely to finally be somewhat deceptive and needed a smoke while I smoke so reached in and grabbed a CAO Black via @Usafvet509 :

This is a nice mild smoke. Had I have known I likely would have grabbed a lighter styled beer. Ever try these with an IPA? I've only had a Kudzu that didn't kill the hops.
Thanks!
*EDIT*
Not so mild after about 20-30 mins! Really liking this stick!
Angel's Share Reserve D'Chateau and Woodford. Cracked head and a crack before the band. Hopefully she'll hang tough for the next 2 hours...

Smoking a couple slabs of center-cut ribs :) Cherry, oak, and pistachio shells on a bed of Kingsford briquets. I use the 3-2-1 method, that's 3 hrs in the smoker, 2 hrs in the oven, and 1 hr on the grill. But I've found it best to do more like 2.5-1.5-20 min, otherwise the ribs get overcooked.
And I'm adding to the local smoke load with a Cain Habano toro. Hope the EPA doesn't show up :)
'15 V Maduro, I'm not minding the 60rg too much today. Plus I'm inside, and the smoke is billowing off this thing, probably as much smoke as I've ever gotten from any cigar.

If I drink while smoking, it's almost always scotch or bourbon, but the dozen or so times I've had wine with a cigar have all been excellent. Good reminder that I need to try that more often.
Doesn't hurt that you're smoking my favorite cigar (at least, my favorite this year). Cheers!
My Father #3 Crema...6x49. Fine two hour smoke on a good day.
Diesel Unlimited maduro to wrap up the weekend.

First cigars in a week today. The combo of tax season and a cold held me down last week. Had a Quesada Oktoberfest and a Nub Dub while sipping on some wine slushies. DogRockets knows how to party!
Out on the golf course with this HR Sublime courtesy of @allusred . Great smoke !http://i40.photobucket.com/albums/e2...pskchxt6qo.jpg

Thanks Bob for your kind words.:) In reference to the detail info about my smoke; I started that several years ago out of "dire need". I like to buy some of my cigars from small farms and is processed in Florida. These are very limited quantities and I found that the same cigar varies from production year to another and I needed to identify what I was getting from the cigar. As an example say that I purchase cigar xyz in 2015 that I liked and a sample of xyz again in 2016. These cigars are never exactly the same from year to year. Lets say that I enjoyed 2015 xyz better than the 2016 xyz then I could contact the vendor and request any more of the 2015 xyz that I preferred.:thumb: By documenting my cigar I can make comparisons. Anyone who reads the forum knows that you truly love your cigars, some are good, some are not so good and others exceed your expectations. All I can honestly say is that I love to read your posts; thanks for being here!
Hiroshi Robiana is one helluva good blender, I think there will be great cigars coming from him once the embargo is gone, hey if he does this well with Nicaraguan leaf, once he's blending his Cuban and Nicaraguan we should be getting some really special cigars. I do indeed like the smokes coming from Don Pepin Garcia's My Fathers Cigars, but Robiana has my attention with those HR cigars.
Knew that one was "outside" your usual size range, but figured if you lit it, you'd like it.
Warped Flor Del Valle Las Brumas...4.5X48. Early morning smoke to begin the day,or rather to end my evening, think to try some Selah Sue to add a bit brightness then on to Francoise Hardy, and for a change some cold Tubig.
Los Calaveras 2014 Ediccion Limitada LC754...7x54. Wrapper: A very enjoyable smoke thatEcuado Habano Oscuro wrapper is a winner my pick was to be a El Centrion H-2k which WNYTony sent me, but I noticed a crack at the foot of the Loc Calaveras, my guess is that as any any soldier is meant to it tried to escape from captivity. Despite the damage this cigar smoked without any problems and lasted for an hour and thirty four minutes, another fine cigar from Don Pepin Garcia.

Paul Stulac Phantom Torpedo...6x53. On a nice warm day smoking, as usual on front porch, a nice long hour and forty one minute, every one of the Paul Stulac which I like a lot, finds me wishing once again that he'd make these in the Corona size.
Burnin up one of these, which I picked up at a B&M in Charlottesville, VA.

I also smoked 9# of Sahlen's natural casing hot dogs the other day, and I have photographic evidence:

I think this might be the most underwhelming of the AJF blends.
