Esteban Carreras Mr. Brownstone I got from
@Ciro
Pretty nice dark flavor profile without being over strong. Actually managed to pick up what I would consider a black coffee flavor, but I am not at all a coffee drinker so I may be off there. Some unsweet chcolate. Not really any spice in the regular draws. A hint of it and some really dark wood tones in the retrohale.
Damn the tapatalk made me break out my drawing. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...141d084e44.jpg

I wish they would make this in a smaller ring gauge, I bet it would be incredible.

Wonderful Cigar - retook the pic so you can see the burn line on this fat stick.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...f74610023e.jpg

The Blue Labels were the first box purchase I made way back when. A good smoke, but I have not tried these Lanceros. Every time Kayla posts one, I’m like hey I need to try those. Then I always forget of course, lol

I smoked another Undercrown Maduro as I had some coming today. And while I was out the mailman dropped off my box which included a couple of things I’ve not had. As I’m sending allusred a package shortly I figured I’d see if it was worth sending too. I must admit my taste buds weren’t virgin, but I still think it was nice with my coffee. They’re made by Drew Estates which is why I decided to give them a try:

Esteban Carreras Habano 7x54. Burnt on this cold & windy day at the beach. Didn't keep me warm but did smoke nicely.

What did you smoke today (NC) II

First El OSO of any size, but figured I better get a skinny something in before February ends.
French Roast is usually a bit strong imo with a cigar, but these two are pairing nicely. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...60ab5479c8.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...0646b076d7.jpg

I’m just into the 2nd inch and am really digging this stick. Eagerly waiting to see how it transitions into the 2nd third

Rd 2 a chaveta cigar. Not sure when I got it or how. I dont think I bought it. Research says they were rolled in 2012. I don't think they are around anymore which is a shame. Good stick

Indeed it is a nice cigar, and compliments my dark roast nicely. I’ll have to try some of their other offerings now.

Lol, sorry Tony. I really enjoyed this cigar, think you guys are right the Lancero is perfect. Don’t think I will even try another viotla, if the next ones as good I see a box in my immediate future.

Indeed it is, I’m glad I saw you and Tony’s exchange about them. They were not on my radar till then.
No stuffy nose today, and the weather is as perfect as it can be. Decided to try another of these Laranjas. Just lit it up so can’t speak much to notes and body, not fairly anyhow

These have everything I want in a cigar. So damn good. I wish slender, box-pressed Churchills were a more common vitola. Damn!

Got a couple extra hours tonight from work. Decided to give Hiram & Solomon a first try. Entered Apprentice.
Smooth woody nutty taste to start. Very very minimum spice in the background. Easy open draw and burning nicely. Little more spice and dark wood on the retrohale.
Cold draw was sweet and a little floral. Pretty nice cigar. Looking forward to comparing it to the other line I bought.
