CT shade, good smoke which I’ve had a few. Not to be confused with the regular Undercrown that’s more of a medium/full.

Tuesday (rainy) night smoke.
Tabacalera Sumatra Corona.
Yeah well one of my golf buddies doesn't hate Gurkha so I'm pretty sure that one may be sitting in the travel humi one day when I offer him a stick.......
Who knows, maybe I'll get lucky !
Oh and @cheaphumidors - frogs need luv too so I'm glad to hear you're kissing 'em !

What's this?! Is that a lancero? I didn't know they made them in that vitola

Lancero indeed. And as Sean (@CentralTimeSmoke) pointed out, it burned like a charm. Flavor wise, will probably not going to have another one. Not bad by any means, just a good amount of wet campfire for the first 1/3 that just didn't do it for me. Not sure if these are supposed to have firecured tobacco, but it sure tasted like it.

A JR alternative to the CAO Maduro Churchill I nubbed with my coffee this morning:
https://i.postimg.cc/ydmY1CGt/ECBC2-...65-CB7-B45.jpg
Speaking of Nub, I wish they made them in a smaller ring. 50-54 is a bit big, much less 60 and such. Well, they are for me, but then I’m not a big guy at 5’8”...
Me either. I usually buy corona, lance or robusto sized cigars. I have never bought a single one of those 60+ donkey dicks and don't intend to. I even prefer pipes with smaller bits. Don't like those big, fat, rapidly tapering bits you see on a lot of Petersons.
Borrowed from the Emperor..

46 to 50 are my preferred rings
An experiment 6 months in the making. Back in August I placed 2 edges corojo in my lighter box in my garage and forgot them for 2 months. When I found them, I decided to see how long they will store in such fluctuating environment. After many 70-0 degree weather days and who knows what rh, I decided to light one up tonight.
Aside from it being hard as a twig, I'm really surprised how well it's drawing, burning and how the flavor isn't much different from what I remember. As much sht rocky patel takes, they do a nice job at constructing these sticks. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...e7769efee6.jpg

Faustos aren't high on my list of favorite Tats either, they've always hit me as really strong. Sorry it wasn't your thing G

No no no. No apologies needed my friend, it was a great cigar and I'm glad I tried it. I wasn't trying to diminish it or the gift, just giving my two cents on the flavor profile. If anything, I need to thank you for pushing me to try some tats and discovering some gems I would have never tried. So thank you.

Late Wednesday Evening. Esteban Carreras Mr brownstone Smack Maduro.
32 degrees F. at the time this one was set alight...that might explain the need to touch up an uneven burn...shaking too much to get it right on first try.
Really? They are one of my favorites! It is a rare thing for our pallets not to agree!

Late to the Party but, definitely agree with some of the others that the Fausto is a fine smoke. Went through two boxes and Haven’t replenished... not for lack of wanting just cash is tight. My personal opinion with anything Tat have some patience, Haven’t had anything from this outfit with less than a year at a nice Rh that was worth a damn! Ain’t trying to twist any arms but as a Tat fan I’ve come to realize as with the Cuban realm a nice nap goes a long way!

Evening smoke after a nice long walk on the sand at the beach on a quite cold night under bright moon. The it is fine for all night Bob. Mr Brownstone Chuchy the first from two boxes
that had a very tight draw, needed several touch ups until the final third which burned very smoothly.
Davidoff Colorado Claro Special T from Privada. One of the best cigars I’ve ever smoked. Superb. More spice than I’m used to from Dominican cigars. That’s why I usually don’t like Dominican cigars. There’s a sweet spiciness, almost like a red hot. Too bad these are $20 cigars. If you’re looking for a treat to buy and stow away, smoking only a couple a year, this is it.

@WNYTONY are you hearing what I am? G needs more cigars to try [emoji1787][emoji1787][emoji1787]
Was looking for something on the quicker side and I've always wanted to try one, so @restomod 's yellowcake gets sacrificed to fire tonight!
Dropped it. Doing the best I can with this. So far, so good. Its a Tat, so it’s tasty nonetheless.

Wow - didn't mean to set off such a storm on the Fausto - just not among my favorite Tats. I've had a few that were great but usually I wind up wishing I'd have grabbed something else. Maybe it's just timing - don't know what to tell you.
@cheaphumidors - you lost my palate at Gurkha !!!
@SoCal gunner you are a trouble maker. @Regiampiero did not say anything about needing more cigars at all. Of course, I may owe him a do over on that lance but to just up and bomb the man would be wrong :nono:
Tonight's pleasure, from a brother elsewhere

Late Afternoon~early Evening.Esteban Carreras Mr. Brownstone Chuchy Habano.
Unlike the last one I smoked this one lit easily kept a near razor sharp burn line, no need for relights or touch up drew just fine for a one hour and forty nine minutes.
Guess what I’m smoking tonight:
