The CAO Mx2 Dagger is one of my favorite little smokes. But lately I’ve noticed both those and the CAO Gold cigarillo have had poor construction under the cap. Not sure if you can tell:

Yesterday Karmen was a bit pushy and had me help her with some upcoming Halloween costume work, which of course calls for a cigar. Decided to try the small box pressed Cubano #1 I got in Key West. These things are a bit harsh, but I really liked the small corona box pressed size.

(Ok first of thank you @WNYTONY for sending this cigar, but you should have included an idiot disclaimer.)
When I first took the cigar out of the cello all I could smell was wet dog (and im thinking that's a great start), which I've never gotten from any other stick. Then the cut. Cut once, looks good, draw test, nothing. Second cut, draw test, nothing...wtf?! Grab draw tool, drill one hole, no real resistance in or out, draw test, Notthing. Another hole, pull out pretty much nothing, draw test, NOTHING! I was just about to pitch it, when my eyes got a glimpse of the foot... I'm a moran [emoji58]. This thing has a closed foot, which is so perfect I couldn't even see it in 5 minutes of mucking around with it.
Incredibly after all that it lit up and draws perfectly, which by itself is enough for me to appreciate the construction of these things in a whole new light. Flavors are also amazing. Woodsy central, with a little pepper and cinnamon, and a tobacco sweetness that likes to come and go and evolves into a sourdough sweetness which I love. Very interesting. I don’t often smoke Davidoffs, but when I do, I smoke the strong, dark ones. Privada Cigar Club coming through strong.
I hope you all don’t think I’m a paid smokesperson (ha!), but it’s pretty great. These are a $16+ cigar that’s sold out nearly everywhere. I got it sent to me nicely rested for $10.
