As it turns out, we ended up going out to dinner as a family and I didn't get to smoke my half of his birth pair, but the story got better. Just returned from visiting my parents for a couple of weeks and my Dad gave me his cigar from Brandon's birth. I just finished tubing it up and sealing it with a P-touch label that has Brandon's initials and DOB. It's now on one of his most treasured things display shelves. On the plus side, we still have my pair of cigars just in case we want to burn them in the future.
