Padron 1964 Anniversary Series Box Pressed...5.5x50. Smoked on a cool, rainy Sunday afternoon, the draw on this cigar was, start to finish near perfect, right up there with Southern Draw smokes in that regard,very even burn throughout the entire burn time of one hour and forty-eight minutes.

Having a Brohiba from my latest batch. PA wrapper (from KY), Dark Air binder, also from KY, and a mix of Dominican and Nicaraguan fillers. Not bad, but definitely needs to convalesce for a few months. This one is only just over 2 weeks old, but I had to try the new PA wrapper leaves. They good.

Gurkha (series uncertain) Torpedo with Diet Pepsi on a cool to chilly but clear night.
My neighbor gave me a bundle of 20 of these as well as an Ashton Torpedo (single). He's been asking me how they taste so I lit one up even though they're bone dry. Not too bad and not badly made. I think that they're several years old and almost as long dry so I'll put them to sleep in the higher rh box (~69) for months and try them then.
Nice and unexpected gift.
I wouldn't hesitate to smoke another one. My palate isn't refined enough to distinguish different flavors but I found it to be very consistent and smooth throughout. CI lists it as a full bodied cigar but I'd consider it more of a medium body. I think this one had some age on it so that may be a factor also.Quote:
