I recently had my second or maybe 3rd ever GOTF, a Nightwatch Orpheus and really wasn't very good at all.

What do you think of that one? Just the inevitable bad one of the line, or is it just my palate?

During the run up time to Thanksgiving & Christmas I miss some things, figure to catch up in the New Year, then fail to do so.
Now one box is ticked, a birthday smoke to celebrate Yours almost a Year late. This time, tho I will get it right, on the Day, just have to find the right cigar for the Fifth.
Thinking what it might be like for a youngster, who just discovers the Dead now. Too late to see a live show..... but able to hear so much of their music for the first time.

My closest friend ( much more a brother than friend ) and I have discussed that many times. We always acknowledge how truly fortunate, grateful ( pun intended) etc… we were, being able to see the boys, as much as we did. I always feel happy when I see younger kids getting into them, that lets me know, the music will truly never stop. Between all the LPs/CDs/Videos, there is an enormous catalog of shows to have. Then the archive has nearly every show ever played, on it. My wife’s first show was after Jerry Died, when they toured as The Dead in the early 2000s. My last Grateful Dead shows, before Jerry died, was a 3 night run in Charlotte 1995.
