8/15 on the cello...and it's 8/22. Seven years, trying to think back...These aged sticks with dates alway make me think where, who, and what I was then?; what was significant?; was it a good year? Typing this, thinking "it's all a fucking blur"; and just now I recall being in Chicago with my wife and two kids (at the time). She had a work conference, and we always made those to be free family vacations. Good times there, and the kids were very young. It's the year I really discovered Grateful Dead, and I just so happened to be where their final tour would be held...but it was another month away...so maybe it was 07/22...close enough. [emoji1787]
