Been on a early 80's kick recently. Which got sidetracked into a great 72 show from Old Renaissance Faire Grounds in Veneta, Oregon. There is a dvd out of this concert as well. Great show, but they all are imho.Quote:

This was my first Fausto, seen a few of you guys enjoying them. I can see why, this one is only several days off the truck and still a nice smoke. Looking forward to a few months rest on them or more.

I too like everythin that the dead dd (Dead did ?) Will look for it, tend to get on a Dead kick and have to from time to time back off listening to them,otherwise it can turn into days & nights of the Dead at expense of other things that need a bit of attention.

While on South Padre Island I found they had a cigar shop. But when I looked them up I found a lot of bad reviews about the service and the prices. I wasn’t even sure if they rolled any of their own so instead I looked at what the convenient liquor store had and picked up a few sticks.
I’ve never seen this one before, and being 33x5 was a bit intriguing as I like some of the smaller cigars from Nat Sherman and CAO. This was just under $4 but figure that’s partly Island pricing.

I always thought Don Diegos' were cheapies (swisher and Antony and Cleopatra type of cheapies), but turns out that one in specific is around 4 to 5 dollars per stick online so you just got a deal. How was it?Quote:

I honestly felt like the first draw tasted like cigarettes do when you’ve quit for a period of time and then smoke one (I often wondered what I was thinking many of those times but kept putting anyway). But after that it mellowed out nicely. I wouldn’t say it was a $4 smoke though. The Nat Sherman Point Fives and CAO Karats are much better and half that price, though they are just 4” long and 34/38 ring. I’d buy them again if the price was similar enough though.Quote:

I rested some for a few months. They make a good early morning smoke when my pallet isn't quite ready for a full strength stick. With some age they seem to gather a little dimension, but still super mild.Quote:
