Smoking an Opus X Petit Lancero for our 43rd wedding anniversary after filling our bellies with lots of crab legs.

Congratulations man. 43 years is a great thing.

How are the Petite Lanceros strength-wise compared to the Perfxcion X or similar size?

Fresh Opus X's are just way too overpowering for me until they hit about 5 years age, then they have mellowed enough to be excellent smokes and something I can understand the hype about.

Would love to find one that doesn't take 5 years to be smokable.

What I could get out of it. Very tight draw. Over bunched in the head. Much improved after I extracted a stick.
