    Diesel Uncut Robusto

A big thanks for this one, @KRam311 . Always been curious about these since I was a but a bidding babe. I was very skeptical of the only-by-the-bundle budget sticks after trying a single of the DE Factory Smokes (and, yes, to this very day I continue to have nightmares about that Sweet). An inch in here, and I do believe I'm sold on the Uncut. These will most definitely be on the bidding menu, Kevin, and it is budget restock season for me. Thanks again, Kevin.

Never doubt a reasonably priced Diesel. Those are the good smokes. Their Limited edition ones are not worth the cash. Its like lipstick on a pig.

I didn’t know you were a bird watcher! I am too. I don’t get orioles down here but I had a pair of painted buntings that spent the winter down here and were at my feeders almost every day.

I’ve always been a bit of a bird watcher, but with the typical work schedule I had, I tried to keep up on the feeders in the winter, but wouldn’t see any benefits as it was dark when I got home.

I bet you get a lot more variety down there!! Especially in the winter.

Painted buntings? How cool! I hear indigo buntings in the summer here, but rarely see them.

I have been using a few apps to help with ID. iBird Pro, Merlin, eBird for tracking/reporting. BirdNET will analyze sound and help with ID. Merlin also has this feature built in, but is more automatic. Merlin is supposed to have a automatic photo ID, but I don’t have the equipment to get a good enough, close-up photo.

Give the TAA a shot. It was reasonably priced and I thought it was awesome.

Gonna try to get to the Sunday Gravy you sent tomorrow. How have these been for you? Eyeing a 10 pack of the Gabagool 🤌 for my budget bin.

eBird, Merlin and BirdNET are all in the same family from CornellLab and work together. I would start with Merlin Bird ID and then eBird if you want to track and contribute reporting. It’s also a good one to see what others are reporting around you.
