Royal Bum
A Belinda Churchill I bought from JR around the turn of the decade....
Like my father before me, I will work the land,
And like my brother before me, I took a rebel stand.

Bruck's woeful cigar experience
I worked late this evening, had to knock out some paperwork in peace, got it done, thought I'd celebrate with a cigar on the way home, a Pinar Del Rio Reserva Limitada. I like these smokes for their leather/hardwood profile. Had trouble making it burn right, which is usually the case with smoking and driving, due to the ventilation. It tunneled bad, as in the wrapper didn't burn, just the filler (?!) When I re-lit, the wrapper caught fire and there I was driving down the parkway with a flaming torch in my hand. Got it out, but the cigar never did burn well.
So when I got home, I lay it in the outdoor ashtray and had dinner. Afterwards, I thought I'd try it again while taking a walk in the neighborhood. Again, the burning difficulties, and the wrapper kept flaming up on me. A half mile down the road I tossed it in the ditch. Perplexed I was, as I've never had any cigar burn that badly.
Happy ending I lit up an Oliva Saison which is excellent!
You oughta know not to stand by the window, somebody see you up there.

Very frustrating when you're trying to relax or reward yourself and it doesn't perform. At least you found redemption with a good ending! Probably made that Saison that much more enjoyable.

Golf Course Bum
Went for a walk earlier with a La Galera Connie El Lector from the CA Care Package.
Great burn and not a bad smoke but won't be rushing out to buy a box .
Tonight I'm chilling with a Tatuaje Miami Regios that
@penna stogey
just sent me in a Cigar and Coffee Pass bomb.
Pulled it out of the rubble last night and it looked like it was still smoldering so I'm smoking it today - safety first and all
No cigar until you get a par - birdie if it's a scramble !
