What did you smoke today (NC) II

Southern Draw Manzanita

My first Southern Draw finally as the couple I've had for a while ended up at the bottom of my tupperdor, so never saw them when choosing something and kept forgetting about them to dig them out until today.

Excellent taste and a nice medium the first half becoming a medium-full or even full the second half, but never got too strong.

Perfect, razor sharp burn, perfect draw and perfect construction with only a couple thin veins and nearly invisible seams and no wrapper issues when handling, cutting or smoking.

Honestly didn't even think about that. Been on a LFD kick lately, and this was the only one I had on-hand (thanks to Ciro!). The weather was nice, and I had a enough kid-free time to pull out a good stick. Doubt those stars will align next Sunday.

Did kinda want to smoke it for good luck on the Superbowl Squares - which is missing your name on the sign up sheet btw.

I picked a few up a little over a year ago. I think they are Gordos. I really enjoy them. Great construction, great smoke volume, nice flavors through each stage, very enjoyable long smoke. Today I enjoyed this one for over an hour and a half.

I have most of a box of 10 Cuesta Rey Centenario Tuscany Tubos, my first and only ever Cuesta Rey's, and only heard about them when they were given to me. Definitely a hidden gem I was missing out on having been unaware of their existence.

@cheaphumidors Yes please!! Im sure Drew could explain it to you pretty easily. Theres no skill or knowledge involved- just plain ol luck and it makes the game more exciting to watch for sure. I would invite him to join as well but I dont smoke his kind of cigars anymore…
