You sound like me! I love musicals but Hamilton just didn't do it for me since I am not a fan of rap/R&B. However, my best friend and my husband absolutely loved it so when it came out on Disney+ I watched it 4 times in a row (with subtitles) and listened to the soundtrack constantly for a week. Why? Because I know the inner workings of my stupid brain and I know that I hate new things and I enjoy familiar things so I made myself like the musical by making it familiar. But man, I can't imagine watching it for the first time in a theater when there are no subtitles, I could only catch every 3rd word or so the first time I listened to it.Quote:
