Went outside to fire up the Corona Double and the wind kicked up with some sprinkles, so I decided I needed to get something shorter. So it's a JDN Gran Consul instead....

The Shade didn't cut it. Time for a wiser choice.

These in natural are a lot better than in EMS but that's not saying much. Age has helped but the weren't much to begin with. Yard gar and no more.
Bud Light Platinum tastes like a Coors from the 1970s but with more metal taste. Should have called it Bud Light Metallica.
I agree about the purple bottle beer taste. My buddy brought some up to the farm a few weeks ago, and it has a metal twang to it...

Farrell,
You may be right about the origin. Certainly looks the part and the industry is rife with multiple branded sticks. Make 'em once and band 'em twice. Did you have to sign that form before smoking it?
Fonseca 1907 natural with coffee light. This one isn't too bad but I think I have another 2 boxes of these, and they're 50-pk!
Beautiful day.

The couple I've had I've smoked in the morning with some English tea and they've been pretty good for a light smoke.

I was on the side porch, in the shade. Should have been on the back porch, in the sun. Not as tough as I used to be.
it start out a bit mild but flavors built as I smoked it and became richer and stronger...finishing full. Really tasty. I definitely want to get more. I've got 2 others, the natural and Maduro so looking forward to those too.
