Dug into my stash and pulled a Nica Libre sent from

. This is very nice, and I know I have been sent a Nica Libre before and liked it, but I'm not certain if it's the same one. Nice and smooth for those dark flavors. I'm wondering if I'm developing a palette or what as I get mild notes of dark chocolate and coffee. Can't say I've picked out flavors in a cigar and have been a bit baffled by the descriptions. Maybe I'm evolving here...

Great smoke! Thanks Ferrell!
Is this the same smoke with a new band?

Oh, and, paired with my red plum ale seems fitting. I'll need to brew some more darker styles as I'm about out, though rye whiskey does well too...
*EDIT*
The band is the same and not like the one shown at CI. Hoping it's the same as I'm really digging this one. Two cheaper sticks have really made an impression on me. This one and the Alec Bradley American Classic. They come across being of higher quality than the price suggests.
