Well I don't know about that football prediction Jerry but glad you enjoyed the smoke. They are one of my favorite Fuente cigars.

Enjoyed a L'Atelier La Mission 1955 c/o @jhedrick83 while enjoying the beautiful weather, some iced tea and some '81 Dead, a pretty good afternoon treat.
Hope everyone has a good start to the week.

Sancho Panza Triple Anejo Gordo. Smoking another with Spring Water.
Hi Brian,
Smoked some ROTT but a little better with a couple of months in the humidifier. They're less than the sum of their parts; good nose (before light), construction and draw with decent flavours but they're not well defined, only modest amount of smoke, a bit medicinal and rough retro. They don't get to the finish line like the Punch Pita that is a close comparison in weight and flavours but the latter's a superior stick.

Had a curiously named Alec Bradley "Post Embargo" on the way home from the swamp :) It was okay, but I wouldn't skip a lunch date with my mother in law to get another one.

Another "new to me" cigar, courtesy of WNYTONY. 7-20-4 Lancero...7.5x38. After having several cups of good hot coffee and knowing I'd have time to sit back and enjoy hanging out with this Lady in her Brazilian wrapper, of course had to have some music...so what other than.

Astrid Gilberto,so unique, despite all the times this song has been recorded over the intervening years, nothing comes close to Astrid's original "The Girl From Ipanema."
Oh, the cigar, really, really enjoyed this slender flavourful beauty.
Thanks much TONY.
Burn time: One Hour and Forty Three Minutes.

Another beautiful day, a bit overcast but that's fine with me.
Sat back with a nice stick Jesse turned me on too, some hot coffee and as I am sure many of you have come to expect, some Dead (Closing of Winterland to be exact)

I'd smoke a box of sand rather than have lunch with my mother-in-law. Fortunately she lives 1000+ miles away but my wife just returned from a visit with her and always acts wonky for a week or two after being with her.
Another Sancho Panza Triple Anejo Gordo with Spring Water.
About the same as the others but it does little to divert my attention.
Jorge is at it again, 25 cigars of yourchoice for $110 through November from JNV Cigars

Drove home from the badger rodeo in the rain today, so it took a full half hour longer than usual. Fortunately I had a CAO Gold (Connecticut) to keep me company for the duration :)
Tuesday Aftternoon cigar. Vegas Cubanas Corona...5.5x44. Smoked on front porch on this fine one from Don Pepin Garcia this cool Tuesday Afternoon.

Yay, someone noticed!
Thanks again for linking me the one with the dimensions so I knew what I was getting into, and you were right it really is perfect for a single stick.
I know it was Tat Tuesday, but this Caldwell Eastern Standard Cake Walk from @jhedrick83 has been calling me for a few days now. Really tasty stick, I look forward to getting more and trying some other offerings of their's.

Glad to hear it. No hope for mine but I do wish it were otherwise.
I might have lunch with her if she'd agree to smoke some of these stinker Rocky Patel Broadleaf Churchills might melt my heart a bit ...nah, probably not.
Punch Pita with Spring Water.
Wish I had a lot more of these as each has been very tasty and perfectly behaved. Better than they were 20-40 years ago. They demand attention for all the right reasons. I'm impressed.

Production ended years ago, but now available again. No surprise they're one of my favorites now. Favourite size.
Your first, real girlfriend always a sweet spot in memory. Just maybe a cigar is a bit like that.

Forgot that these need to be delicately cut (55 ring and box pressed) but they're a very nice Ecuadorian CT wrapper. Need to tend to it as the wrapper seamed a bit.
