So what are his stats ? Sacks, picks, pick/6's, fumbles returned for TD ? He's in a havoc position so I hope he's raising hell !

Not sure about total stats yet. He's usually in pass coverage so no sacks, but 1 pick so far and a few deflected passes. Double digit tackles in most of the games with 3 or 4 for a loss. I'm working on his highlight reel for the year I'll post it when I get done.

Romeo Y Juliet 1875 Bully with Diet Dr. Brown's Black Cherry.
Been a day.
Water main leaked causing a pond on the side of my house (2"-4" deep, 30'x5') that kept my sump pumping day and night (gallon every 2 minutes).
Last Friday my son-in-law's dad diverted the water (pond now gone). The Water Company was here 10 minutes after being called and set a work order for today with the understanding that if the leak was more than 25' from the middle (single lane) of the road then the cost was mine to bear.
They had a team of 6 that worked from 8am until 3pm. Could have buried a dozen bodies in the 2 large holes they dug. They repaired the main and put in something to help divert if another leak were to develop and then were most gracious in their calculation from the street!
Water quality has always been excellent, I pay only $45/Qtr (with sprinklers) and now the service is top notch. Shout out to Huntington Water! Yaay!

CAO Gold (Connecticut). Lovely mellow smoke. Starts out very light and grassy, but develops a fuller flavor after about the first third. Just got back from Hong Kong, where I had no cigars for a week, so I'm taking it easy :)

nothing that I smoked today but a warning. do not ask Tony (WNYTONY) if a smoke is a good one. I asked how the divine inspiration from Fuente was and he posts that he will send a couple. Well, he lied. I get a package today with 3 Fuente Casa Cuba divine inspiration and 1 Vegas Cubanas and 1 Las Calaveras. Just shows what kind of guy he is and an example of all the great guys and gals we have on here.
I owe you Tony , thanks and I will try to figure how to get you back.

Thanks to @WNYTONY I was able to today, tasty stick and looking forward to getting some more soon.
That's awesome and I'd love to see it. Be proud papa !
Totally agree Kayla. I bought natural and I know you grabbed maduro and I hear that's really the way to go on these. Next box I'm going to have to go maddy and see, but I'm liking the natural just fine.
That's just crazy talk Jerry ! Glad they arrived and let me know what you think of the Casa Cuba
Jorge is letting these go for $110 for 20, mix and match your choice.

Had a few of these in my humidor and hadn't tried them yet, but Mark (@Nature) had to go and post his review of it yesterday so I had to give it a go. No burn issues on my end, beautiful draw, and tons of yummy cocoa and coffee flavor

Another La Gloria Cubana Wavell natural. Really enjoyed the one I had the other night.....
Thursday Morning cigar. Vegas Cubanas Corona...5.5x44. Smoked on front porch on this cool,64 F,Morn, this is very easy Morning, or anytime smoke from Don Pepin Garcia. Makes a nice half of a duo when joined later by a Romeo Julieta Millie Fleurs, as I intend for an Evening smoke.
Burn time: One Hour Twelve Minutes.

Punch Pita with Spring Water.
Big flavour, nice stick.
Errrrrr.....ahhhhh.....ummmmm....errrr....hey @WNYTONY ......ahhhhh.....Errrrrr......ummmmm.....how do all those cigars taste?.....Are they good ones?........😁
Hi David,
Yes. Holts actually had separate listings for Miami and DR sticks and at the same price but I bought the 37 boxes from a local tobacconist, all Miami made. It was his entire La Gloria order that he'd just received. I bought Miami made from Holt's after I'd smoked through the 37 boxes (~9 months) for the better part of a year until they were no longer offered.
This falls under the wealth of riches is wasted on a numbskull. I still like La Gloria very much but preferred the Miami and I smoked them without a thought for posterity. The Boom hit and La Gloria prices went up faster than a lizards body temperature in the desert sun.
Natural. I had negative dealings/feelings with Danby-Palicio (when Dan Blumenthal ran the company) because they were so deeply in bed with Lew Rothman but I started smoking them after I left the business and I like both Hoyo and Punch. Tastes like this Pita is a new blend from some I had perhaps a year ago, bolder and bigger flavour. Certainly the blend has changed over time as (from their literature) they had no Nicaraguan leaf in the day. Positive change.
Yessir, I jumped in around 1995-97 and they all pretty much seemed higher than giraffe lovin'. I did go through some crap cigars back then, as everybody and their brother were rolling cigars. Just get them on the shelf and somebody will buy them! I'm just happy that it seems that most care about quality over quantity these days....

Finishing it now. Two thumbs up! https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...3de40ad926.jpg

I was a retailer and he was selling for less than I could buy. Speaking to Danby (Blumenthal) was like an audience with the Pope and he was dismissive so we stopped selling their cigars except to regular customers. Always amazed me when their missionaries would act and say that Rothman was paying the same price as I was. The business completely changed with the Boom and the Internet. I don't hold grudges :).
It was a time of change for almost everybody in every line of business. Then when we got things together, along came Y2K. We didn't know if we would be affected, so we tried to cover our azz in every way possible. I was helping my mom and brother with their gift marketing business in the World Trade Center in Dallas. We just put in a new fancy bar code scanning system and was praying it would hold up. It did. A lot of people got rich off the Y2K scare, that's for sure!....
Didn't realize this was my last one, going to have to fix that.

Hi David,
After I left Marble Arch (1992) I worked as a database consultant for Estee Lauder before/after Y2K. An IT manager who didn't know (or learn) the Canadian payroll system let the guy who developed it go despite my strong objections. Estee gave him a 2 year severance (very nice package, full salary and benefits but this was before they'd gone public). The company emerged unscathed except for Canadian payroll that went haywire and was couldn't be used. :)
Estee rehired him as a consultant at double what he had been paid (no benefits) so he was making 3x because of their mistake. He lasted far longer than that manager.
I think more people were able to get work than got rich other than some software companies that wrote applications intended to read custom software (like the Canadian payroll) to find Y2K vulnerabilities but the 3 packages that I encountered were useless. I wrote a utility in 2 days that highlighted most of our potentially vulnerable areas and we addressed them but I can't say that it actually helped.
Y2K was basically much ado about nothing (except for those Canadians who had to be mailed checks from the NYC office of Estee) :) :) Glad that you had no issues.
I think its safe to say I enjoyed this

Friday so far.. Matilde Renacer Robusto...5.2x54. Smoked on front porch , cool day low humidity. Really enjoyed this cigar while reading,of course some fine hot coffee.
The three Rum & cokes, think it was only three,a few hours earlier followed by some sleep combined helped, it seems, to let me really enjoy time spend with the lovely and lively Matilde.
Burn time: One hour and Forty One Minutes.
