What did you smoke today (NC) II

Thursday Afternoon smoke.
A really fine cigar with a good amount of age, just look at that cello colour! only a slight trace of the pepper even on the first retrohale , very smooth and favourful. This was a gift from My Secret Santa Steve, asnyone who thinks aging is not helpful to to the way good non Cubans smoke has got be wrong the proof is there. Burn time was Ninety Four Minutes of pleasure. Thanks much for this one Steve and for the great selection of fine cigars.

By the way, I recall a store owner telling me to ignore the yellow cello on some of the cigars, it was due to some using a cheap cellophane, that didn't matter since the cigars were ok.

My dad asks about Te Amo cigars every time we visit a B&M so I figured I’d order some for us for when he finally kicks the VID. It’s dirt cheap for a box of ten so why not, I mean San Andreas Maduro is one of my favorite wrappers. Not gonna lie, right out of the box, they smoke like a “rough around the edges” $3 cigar but looking down the road a bit, I’m sure they will be a lot better after a decent nap.

The closed foot on this cigar in addition to making the lighting up fast & easy, may contribute to the very consistent quality of the burn in the sense of the foot not containing more moisture than, say the second half. Any do like the closed foot on a good cigar., and these HR's ain't bad smokes. Burned a good long while but didn't check the duration. Oh, almost forgot the cigar in the picture is, I think, the smaller size Signature Hermoso.
