My theory of nc versions is not worth the money. I have had a few nc monte and red dot cohiba they were ok but I don't think they compare well to their counterparts. I believe you pay more for the name than the tobacco and you can find better cigars in their price point. Now i have never done a true side by side comparison which would be the most fair thing to do but I feel if someone tried it there would be a mostly unsmoked version lying in the ashtray.
