Hi Matthew. I don't think the cigar was a dud, aside from odd taste at first,in f the tapered foot area, the cigar smoked ok, construction was fine,and it wasn't too hard nor was it too soft, mottled wrapper(meaningless.)Noticed two shifts in taste along the way...but I can't pickup on any o the fine nuances that many Bums note, Didn't find a lot of complexity...tho that quite likely means I just didn't sense any. To sum up, think that at the price point there are other cigars from Robaina that offer more bang for the buck.
By the way the Vegas Robaina Don Alejandro 7.63x49 (double Corona?) is a fantastic smoke. Bit hard to find & a tad on the pricey side. But an excellent smoke. The Vegas R0baina Famosos 5x48 are very good, esp when they're on sale for under $200.

Good to know. Hopefully it wasn't a disappointment, and just something you're good on not returning to. Let me know how the house stick is when you get to it.

Thanks for the Robiana scoop. I'm sure after I smoke yours, I'll be hooked, and will need to look around for an online store, since I cannot find them locally.
