Nasty mood continues, so '14 Camacho Blackout figurado to match
Smoking a HDM Excalibur Maduro courtesy of @jhedrick83 . A tasty morsel!
New band. Wonder how they compare to the old.

Enjoying a Chillin Moose on an unseasonably warm night. 3°c out tonight, and no wind. Absolutely beautiful.
Got to the B&M at 6:45 and picked out a cigar and paid for it. Then found out they close at 7, I swore that they were open till 9!!
So I "braved" the 35* weather to enjoy this:

I had an Epoca Admiral on my lunch break today!
For the hat trick, LGC Serie R Esteli #54
I've been wondering about that too.
In addition to redesigning or updating the band the maker has changed, the blend is said to be close to the original.
Sizes and names of the sizes are all changed also.
Have only smoked the older ones, and they've had some age on them, expect it's unlikely if smoked side by side they would be that much alike.
Perhaps much the same or maybe the new one is better.
Edit/update. The new Murcielago Toro is the same size as the original Murcielago Toro Grande.
Sosa classic Wavell. Last one too.

Nabbed one out of Heather's little humidor for infused/flavored. An Acid Nasty. I believe the name to be shortened from the more appropriate "Acid oh-so-Nasty"

Fuente Exquisitos Maduro, courtesy of @Old Smokey . With @Usafvet509 and Steve at the new cigar lounge in Joplin
As she said, at the new lounge in Joplin. Diesel Delirium! @AlanS , too late, brother! We went to the B&M after and did some damage!
I smoked a Perdomo Champagne that 1/2 way through it started peeling so bad I laid it down. Heather changed her name to Becky and Trent did the best Telly Savalas impersonation I have ever seen.
Haven't smoked much lately as it's been cold, I've been busy, and my smoking tent was crushed by the snow last weekend. Making up for it tonite w/ a nice Brohiba. This one has mainly hispanic leaves for the innards, a KY dark air wrapper, and a CT Broadleaf binder, also from KY. It's very nice but is slightly tougher to draw than it should be, but not too bad.
Had a Torano exodus 50 years earlier tonight thanks to @Cardinal photo bucket is acting up so no picture
CAO MX2 Dagger with Italian Dark roast
Gurkha Double Maduro. Perfect draw, perfect burn, and nice dense ash. I love it when I can hear it drop off and hit the ashtray. Every one so far has been well worth the <$2 they go for on cbid.
Yeah, I went there. Not sure about other Gurkhas but these get a thumbs up.
Murcielag Toro Grande...6.5x54 the older version would perhaps have been the best choice for a side by side comparison . Smoked the last of the Toro Grandes I had this past Tuesday. If one were to compare one of the newest iteration to one blended by Don Pepin Garcia it would not only be matching an aged cigar against a younger one, but cigars produced from varying crops, different countries maybe. Then leaving aside variations in the storage and making.
We'd still have to consider that the new cigars are said to be an" attempt" to replicate the original blend.I've oinly a very few of the Old"" DPG made Murcielago Churchills left, but thinking to get some of the newer Murcielagos, in the nearest size to see how well they match up for me.Not an altogether bad Idea that your post has inspired.
ThanksDustin, for your take on the Murcielagos.
Late posting Fridays smokes. Late Morning a E. P. Carrillo Regalias Real...5.6x46 along with two cups of hot coffee.
The afternoon's cigar an Liga Undercrown Flying Pig Maduro...four and one eight inches in length and sixty ring gauge.
The first of these I have smoked, quite impressed by the quality of this cigar.
It burned longer than I'd expected given the rather short size,74 Minutes of very enjoyable smoking time.
This cigar has had an extra sixteen months of rest before being lit.
A much, very much appreciated gift from my Secret Santa Defetis.
Quite sure you have set the hook with this superb smoke, and I'll have to find more of them.
Thanks again Joel for a memorable over the top Secret Santa experience
Cigars and Beers... Cigars and Beers...Defetis sure can pick winners in both those categories.
Last night I had a La Riqueza; wasn't very impressed with it.

Padron 1926. Still have 2 more. Wish I was rich. Would have em every day.
Padron is done. Will be breaking out CAO Brazillia next with a Stone Coffee Stout
Didn't meet my expectations but shows promise. Will let the others rest for a while.
