They can say they are not comfortable / afraid or something and as I understand it cannot be forced to go back - at least at this point. Employers aren't thrilled with it.

Same thing here. People getting paid more using unemployment and given the option to say they don't feel comfortable coming back to work yet. But we were lucky, I discovered that I can handle both my job and the warehouse manager position at the same time while only having to work a few extra hours so in the end it was a good thing, trimmed some fat from our payroll

That really stinks that the guy left you high and dry though. Really the last thing you need right now. I just hope you're not packing the work shipments like you do your personal ones or your company will be out of the biz pretty quick ! You'd have lots of happy customers though.

Up here we have lots of people saying they are making more on unemployment so it's tough getting them to go back to their jobs once they are off.

It says a lot about our society (and not in a good way)when able bodied people are more satisfied accepting a handout than earning an honest days pay for an honest days work.

It should not be hard to get them back to work. Here in texas they have to able to return to work. If their work requests them back and they dont return they lose the unemployment completely.

You and a lot of employers!!
There will be a LOT of "fat cutting" once everyone is able to open back 100%. And then those people that are not called back will truly be arsed out and looking for work.

No worries. I have upgraded the tapatalk plugin to the latest version. Please let me know if you guys run into any issues.

It definitely did something - I now get notifications every time someone responds to or likes a post. Its pretty cool, and you can adjust the notification settings on your phone (I kept them, but set them to silent).
